BIOGRAPHY
Bibek Das is Founder and Managing Partner of Das Law Ltd. and focuses on first-chair general, commercial, business, construction, and premises litigation. He also focuses on both commercial and residential real estate transactions and litigation. Mr. Das routinely counsels individuals, small businesses and large multi-million dollar businesses in various civil matters. His extensive trial and litigation background allows him to serve as a trusted advocate for his clients from inception of a case through trial.
Mr. Das represents individual clients in a wide range of matters, including complex commercial litigation, construction litigation, business and corporate transactional matters, labor and employment matters and real estate matters. He achieved positive results for his clients in both State and Federal court through mediation/arbitration and has successfully tried numerous cases to favorable verdicts. His extensive litigation background also brings added value to transactional matters of his various clients.
Outside of the courtroom, Mr. Das currently serves as a member of the Board for the charitable organization Facing Forward to End Homelessness. He actively participates on behalf of the University of Chicago as an alumnus in assisting current students towards moving into a career in the law as well as judging University of Chicago Moot Court competitions. Mr. Das was also recognized by Super Lawyers Rising Stars as one of the top attorneys in Illinois for multiple years and recently received recognition from AVVO as a top litigation attorney and the client’s choice award.

He is also a member of the Indian-American Bar Association (IABA), South Asian Bar Association (SABA) and Illinois State Bar Association (ISBA). Mr. Das is very active in the legal community where he currently serves as a Lead Chairperson for the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration program and has volunteered at Chicago Volunteer Legal Services as a Pro Bono Litigation Attorney.
